Let’s talk LIGHTNING DEALS

by Melissa on November 21, 2012

Let’s talk LIGHTNING DEALS (check ‘em out here:http://bit.ly/fabuLESSabf12)– they are screaming deals that last a max of four hours (and often sell out INSTANTLY!)– when I say GO NOW, I mean it with every fiber of my being. Whenever possible, I’ll give you a heads up and ask you to go and “babysit” an item so you can add it to your cart the very moment it’s released.

fabuLESS tip: If you think you want a Lightning Deal item but want to research it, IMMEDIATELY add it to your cart! You will then have 15 minutes to decide to purchase it (it will be held for you!)– if you don’t check out within 15 minutes, it will simply fall out of your cart, no obligation. But do not THINK about it, RESEARCH it and THEN try to add it to your cart– you will lose out that way! These things go LIGHTNING fast (hence the name!)
“I missed out last year and learned my lesson.. when she says go…. GO! :) ” -AshleyAlso, even if an item is sold out but there’s an option to join the waitlist– DO IT! There’s often a very good chance that you’ll still score item– items are held the moment someone adds them to their cart, but if they don’t check out, they’ll be released to the waitlist folks and once released you’ll then have 15 minutes to checkout– so if you’re on a waitlist, stay ON Amazon to see whether you score the item.”I went for a lightning deal that Jodi posted during the week, it was 100% gone and I joined the wait list – I got the item a few minutes later and went straight to checkout. It obviously ‘fell’ out of someones basket and saved me lots of lovely dollars! Thank you, Jodi.” -Lisa
