Day EIGHT: Get fabuLESS organized: Organize your pantry and/or spices– fabuLESS!
Today’s mini-organizing challenge is to tackle your kitchen pantry and/or spice cabinet– toss ALL expired food, donate any food that you’re not going to use, and group like items with like items– if you’re feeling ambitious, you can also write out a list of items that you need to stock up on!
Here’s my pantry, it’s small (not tiny, but certainly not HUGE)– and within three seconds of snapping this picture the kids attacked it
That said, like items are grouped with like– the ‘older’ items (i.e. pasta that expires first) is in the front and I can SEE what I have (and what I’m running low on!)– fabuLESS!

And here’s my spice cabinet (yes, I *love* spices and sauces, does it show?!) Again, like is grouped with like– and it only took about 10 minutes to get rid of all of the expired items and to line everything up all nice and pretty– and, no, it won’t stay this “perfect” for long– but it’s easy enough to line it all back up while I wait for water to boil or while I avoid emptying the dishwasher

your spice cabinet is pretty much a clone of mine… all the way down to the Badia & Tastefully Simple spices… I still have yet to find a solution that doesn't keep everything out of reach for me. I'm liking the lazy susan on your bottom shelf. I recently moved mine from shelves to drawers, but that solution isn't working for me either… My big beef is that my spices are always getting knocked over and disorganized when I'm trying to grab them quick for cooking.
